Francisco Malonzo is a figurative expressionist whose paintings explore the boundaries between realism and abstraction. Influenced by classical realism, abstract expressionism, and digital media, his works examine the fragmented nature of perception, the selectivity of memory, and the heightened state of awareness that exists between the artist and his model.

Francisco attended the University of California at Berkeley, and studied drawing and painting at the National Academy of Design and the Art Students League.
